Reflections

“Upon the waters top, the eyes of her own reflection studied its replica. Not a ripple nor a touch broke the surface of the water till she became so imersed in the flames deep inside her that she struck at herself and a splash cascaded her bodice and soaked her roan pelt. She could feel the pain lapping at her inside, breaking her, shattering her, memories clouding any ration thought she could possibly have. Her father was gone, her children seemed troubled, her love was no where to be found. Imatae and Recurrance missed their dad and no matter how hard she tried, Mirrors could not be the father she wanted to be, she was merely the mother, different to the lord she adored. Why she had left, she didnt know. Was it something she had done? Was there something wrong with her? She didnt know, but all she could do was stare at her reflections and dream of running free with her family once again. With her father Bane Crucifix, with Archaic and all her other siblings, with Imatae and Recurrance and her beloved once more.”
